Passed by here today and sad to see the tell tale signs of impending demolition ready for a new Sainsbury's supermarket.

We came in here early evening as it was convenient for the bus stop opposite and pleased to see a couple of ales on offer.

We had roughly half an hour to wait between our train and bus connections, so we popped in for a quick one. The pub is under new management and appears to be trying out different ales.
