Must mention that this pub is in Hartshill, Stoke-on-Trent and not Newcastle-under-Lyme. On an unusually mild late October afternoon it was like a furnace in here so I sat outside and watched the world go by.

We were only people in for a while. Good choice of beers, chatted with the landlord about other pubs nearby, hence our subsequent visit to the HopInn. I like this pub.
