Late-evening and packed in here with live music and a manic atmosphere. Bizarrely though, the back room is completely empty and we sit there all alone for a short time feeling a bit uncomfortable.

16:30 Very good barman. Couple of other drinkers. I liked the large poster of Frank Zappa in the doorway.

The first of the "Hop" style pubs from Ossett, this has various rooms and bars on different levels. Ales mainly from the Ossett stable plus a few guests from elsewhere.
