The pub is found in Clerkenwell, Central London, EC1R 0EG.
This pub was present here by the early 18th century and has long been well-known in the area. Nineteenth century notoriety came from the attached Apollo Music Hall and Concert Rooms, whilst Lenin and Stalin are said to have met up for a pint in the back room once in 1905. These days it is better known for its beer and food. There are several rooms at ground and first floor levels, plus an extensive outdoor seating area at the front on Clerkenwell Green.
We have visited this pub 4 times, seen 17 different beers and tried 6 of them.
