1430 visit. Second call today and not been back here for a year or two. Nice old place. Tennis was on a big screen and the F1 GP on a smaller tv. The carvey, for £5.95 plus extras was noted for another time. Ales were spot on too.

Found in Jeffrey Street, off the High Street in central Gillingham. A large corner pub with a separate dining area extension and a decent sized garden. A locals' type pub and noted for its real ale range and large selection of foreign bottles. A Sunday carvery was noted too. This pub has appeared in CAMRA's Good Beer Guide. 5 handpumps on the bar counter. Closed in January 2018 and suspected destined for change to residential use as a block of flats.
We have visited this pub twice, seen 7 different beers and tried 5 of them.
