29 May 2023 (Philip Pirrip)
Evening visit with Covent Garden alive with winning Owls supporters with wallets to empty. What do they do here - close at 10pm against all the sense of business acumen.

Mid afternoon and heaving, my first visit to this celebrated pub yet strangely I feel rather underwhelmed. There were other beers available from the Fuller's range alas were not available on the app so I've not listed them as it would create duplicates.

16 Nov 2021 (Philip Pirrip)
Evening visit to avail myself of the Fuller's 176th birthday £1.76 a pint promotion. Felt like a pub back to form after Covid, few people seated with standees everywhere at the front area of the bar. An "after work" pub as it should be.

Late evening visit until 11pm close. Seems disrespectful to me to start upturning stools and placing on tables and shelves before all customers have left.

17 Apr 2019 (Philip Pirrip)
Evening visit until 11pm close. The CAMRA discount of 20% was above expectations but placing stools on shelves whilst people were still drinking was a seriously disrespectful downside.

The pub is found in Covent Garden, Central London, WC2E 9EB.

Thin narrow pub on Rose Street off the bottom of Garrick Street. Eight handpumps downstairs and three in the upstairs Dryden Room serving beer to an often packed pub. Very popular. Good feel to it. Worth going to if in this part of London and you don't mind the crowds. Fuller's added this pub to its estate in June 2011 and fully owned it since 2013. Substantial CAMRA discount for card carrying members.

We have visited this pub 13 times, seen 34 different beers and tried 9 of them.
