Brief, late-evening visit (I’m flagging a bit and the hotel is calling). At £2:90 this is the dearest pint all day, but worth the extra as this pub ROCKS.

We sat down in what seemed to be a quiet corner until the juke box started up, and then moved towards the back of the bar near a food servery where we could converse.

We liked the scruffy and relaxed feel to this pub. Very busy on a Saturday evening.
