Re-opening night party here tonight after a period of closure. It is busy, hot and noisy.
Hammerton - N7 | 5.20 | | Great, fruity US-style Pale Ale. |
Gipsy Hill - Dissident | 4.80 | | A very decent Porter. |
Hammerton - N1 | 4.10 | Not Tried | |

Farily quiet on a Tuesday early evening.
Crate - Stout | 5.70 | | Excellent full bodied stout with plenty of roast malt flavours with hints of coffee and dark chocolate. Some fruity hop in the finish. My score 17/20. |

Busy Friday evening, with many customers on the decking at the rear on a hot evening. The fall of the Trinity meant they had just one real ale available.
London Fields - Pale Ale | 3.70 | | Amber/gold in colour. Sharply bitter. In very good condition here. |
Flying Dog - Doggie Style | 5.50 | | I accepted a half of this US keg beer when the Trinity ran out. Chestnut coloured, underwhelming hop character. Bit of toffee. |
Redemption - Trinity | 3.00 | Not Tried | Ran out just as I was waiting to order one. |
28 Aug 2012 (Martin the Mildman)
A few drinkers and early diners in late afternoon on a Tuesday.
Ilkley - Rhubarb Saison | 5.90 | | Not really my style of beer, but this hazy pale/golden ale was well brewed. Quite bitter with citrus hop notes and a yeasty dryness in the finish. My score 14/20. |
14 Jul 2012 (Martin the Mildman)
Fairly busy late on a Saturday afternoon.
Hackney - Golden Ale | 4.00 | | A well balanced dark gold beer with good all round flavours and a easy drinking character. My score 15/20. |
