The start of the evening peak and naturally rammed with a good mix of customers ranging from tourists to commuters. Service was remarkably quick bearing in mind how busy this place was.

The pub is found in Charing Cross, Central London, WC2N 4ER.

Located off Trafalgar Square in St Martins Lane as it goes north up to Leicester Square. In the middle of real tourist country a Sam Smith's pub (amazing that a small regional owns some high value central London real estate). Used to be renowned in London for really low prices but they are slowly creeping up but still cheaper than surrounding haunts. Pretty much all products sold are Sam Smith's branded. A street corner location, bare boards inside with various seating niches - drinking at the bar seems frowned upon or at least discouraged. 4 handpumps in the ground floor bar. Upstairs is the lounge also named "Opera Bar" from its proximity to the ENO, with its own servery for food as well as beer; and where families are welcome.

We have visited this pub 56 times, seen 2 different beers and tried 1 of them.
