Frantically busy when we visited on Sunday lunchtime, and it was a long wait for service. Distinct disappointment to find that the sole real ale had travelled even further than us to be there.

The pub is found in Abergynolwyn, Gwynedd, LL36 9YW.

A solid village pub high in the hills above Bryncrug. The ‘railway’ in question is the preserved Talyllyn Railway. There are two small bars and a restaurant area. Pavement tables at the front and also in a courtyard to the side.

We have visited this pub once, seen 1 beer and tried it.
