15:00 visit. My last stop in Oldham today, last visit here was in 2004 for the CAMRA b/f nearby. Another decent, current gbg, in fact, it's first time in the current, 2013 guide! Big on live bands. Looks like a place for a good night out. Fair ale range on this visit and worth finding too.

The pub is found in Oldham, Greater Manchester, OL8 1DP.
Formerly Sergeant at Arms, found near the Civic Centre and bus terminus in King Street, this early 1800's type, formerly the Sergeant at Arms, served as a local militia headquarters at one point. Today it is Oldham's foremost pub music venue with bands on four nights a week. Up to four real ales and one traditional cider available. Re-opened in April 2018 after a period of closure.
