The pub is found in Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire, CM23 2QY.
In Hadham Road, this pub was present by 1850, possibly earlier, and stands a few minutes’ walk away from the town centre in an area which once had a brick-making industry. It remains a highly traditional house, with separate lounge and public bars, each with its own servery. There is a also an outdoor seating area at the rear. A good supporter of local breweries. Pub under threat in spring 2017 following an application made to demolish and replace with residential.
We have visited this pub twice, seen 6 different beers and tried 3 of them.
