The busiest of the three pubs I toured in Gloucester this-evening. Prices of £2:50 a pint probably help bring in the crowds.

The pub is found in Gloucester, Gloucestershire, GL1 2QR.
An historic inn, established by the sixteenth century. This pub stands alongside Gloucester Cathedral, and the name is one with religious associations. The pub was allowed to become run-down in the early twenty-first century and closed in a state of disrepair in 2010. Purchased and refurbished at a cost of £70,000 by Wye Valley Brewery, the pub re-opened in June 2012. There are two rooms and a highly traditional feel to the pub.
