Deliciously cool inside on a hot early summer's day.Plenty of drinkers and diners using the garden, with wonderful views over Bedgebury Forest.

Was passing so stopped off for a cup of tea would you believe. That's the problem of a 3 day beer festival - eventually you just want a cup of tea. Lovely interior and the patio at the rear has great views.
14th century inn with lots of polished brickwork and wood panels. Located just beneath the church at the top of the hill in High Street. Patio garden has views over the Weald
We have visited this pub 7 times, seen 7 different beers and tried 2 of them.
