Mid afternoon a buzzing atmosphere with folk everywhere enjoying beer and conversation made for a relaxed atmosphere. Excellent and inspiring beer range with keen and knowledgeable bar staff top marks.

Two of us were walking towards the railway station when we peered through the window of this place and spotted the handpumps. We decided to miss our train and enter this pub which we really enjoyed, I was impressed with the service and the barmaid's knowledge of the beers.
