17:10 I had planned to visit here on my previous visit to Shrewsbury this year but ran out of time. Worth the wait. Excellent choice of beer and with an ever changing range, I would suggest probably the best beer pub in town. Got into conversation with three other customers, all interesting. One was a serving railwayman, one had visited Crewe Works before I was born, and the third had a 93 year old ex paratrooper father who had served in the same theatres of wars as my father.

My first visit here, and we were waiting outside for the 11am opening. Good beer range, but surroundings a bit over-modernised for my tastes.
