This was our first evening in Portland and we really hit some good brew pubs. Rogue, here and then Lucky Labrador. Stunning, all three. Again we had a sampler tray here, but then the seasonal was a cask conditioned beer, and I noticed two more handpumps were in use too, so I ordered those. By the time Martin and I left we couldn't move for the massive, excellent burger we had for dinner and the awesome number and quality of the beers. On reflection, we should have sat upstairs with the projection TV showing sports as the feel of the bar seemed better. Still a great brew pub to visit.
BeerABVScoreNotes
1648 - IPA5.50ExcellentGolden, thin off white head. Sweaty sox raspberry malt/hop aroma. Great Woodfordes Wherry aroma, but hoppier. Softer and nicer than the keg version. So great to have cask conditioned beer in America. Beautiful mouthfeel after so many very clean keg beers
Bridgeport Brewing - Hop Harvest5.70GoodAmber, lasting off white head. Meaty, yeast aroma. Fuller in mouth than this beer on tap. Same banana yeast that seemed typical of all the Bridgeport beers. But smoother and fuller than the tap version. Bit of ginger, lovely hop. Well rounded. Flatter flavours than keg, but more satisfying
Bridgeport Brewing - Blue Heron Pale Ale4.90GoodCopper colour with beige head. Again thinner flavours than the keg version, but softer in the mouth and far less hard and clean. Banana flavour yeast. Drinkable, yet they still haven't got the cask condition quite right yet.

The pub is found in Portland, Oregon, America, OR 97209-280.

Industrial chic warehouse. Lots of stripped red brick and black painted metal. Split level with upstairs bar. Bakery and open kitchen on ground floor. Very smart. Nice lofty modern urban feel. Brewery closed then this venue closed its doors on March 10th 2019.

We have visited this pub once, seen 3 different beers and tried them all.
