Umm. Lots of pine. The toilets were interesting because the corridor and toilets themselves were nicely tiled making me wonder if that's where the decorating budget went. Still, it was a perfectly decent pub.

15:25 First stop on a Norwich crawl. Four at the bar, but otherwise empty. I noticed the CAMRA discount sign after I bought a round.

The pub is found in Norwich, Norfolk, NR3 1NQ.
Formerly a Bateman's tied house in Bull Close Road. The pub closed in 2013 and has been bought, renovated and re-opened as a freehouse. The bar has been turned through 90 degrees and the interior is now much lighter with lots of wood. Eight handpumps but only four in use at the moment until trade has been built up, at December 2014. Local CAMRA branch Pub of the Year 2019.
