Afternoon lunchtime visit with large party. Nice and quiet in the back snug.
Brains - SA4.20GoodNew cask on was nice and fresh but hazy although drinkable. Some earlier servings from old cask were sludge which recipients had replaced only upon request

A good traditional pub with a number of rooms and drinking areas. Detached former hotel with single storey later addition to one side. Opposite the larger George Inn. Sports 6 handpumps.
