Musty old fashioned and welcoming surprise of a pub. We stayed for a couple whilst waiting for The Victoria's 16.00 opening..
Magpie - Best | 4.20 | | Copper and full of malt character, boasting fantastically fruity First Gold and Bramling Cross British hops |
Burton Bridge - Stairway To Heaven | 5.00 | | Crystal clear yet acetic and lifeless.. |
Marston's - 61 Deep | 3.80 | Not Tried
Brakspear (at Marston's Wychwood) - Gravity (was Bitter) | 3.40 | Not Tried

Evening. A rarity now - a pub with long standing traditional licensees. Immediate feeling of inclusivity and mandatory conversation.
Dow Bridge - Acris | 3.80 | | |
Marston's - Pedigree | 4.50 | | Awful with caramel off taste and smell. Just left most of it and skedaddled |
Dow Bridge - Imperial Stout | 4.90 | Not Tried

Quick visit on way to railway station. Despite the diminutive size of this endearing pub, a band was getting ready to perform.
Dow Bridge - Centurion | 4.00 | | Amber-coloured and fruity. Apple taste that I didn’t think was meant to be there. |
Marston's - Pedigree | 4.50 | Not Tried
Jennings (since closure now brewed at Marston's) - Bitter | 3.50 | Not Tried
Ringwood - Razorback | 3.80 | Not Tried
