My first visit to this pleasant market town, and this was the first pub of the day, a delightful pub close to the market square. It was a bit worrying to see a For Sale board outside this historic pub.

Very old pub near the market place. One front bar with restaurant at the rear. Beamed, panelled and the number three is still affixed to one door from the days when licensing laws demanded all rooms be numbered.
