Mid afternoon on a warm sunny afternoon most folk sitting out on the green. We opted for the rear bar which was just being vacated by earlier diners. Friendly efficient service in this surprisingly as yet unmodernised pub.

Westerham was very busy on Bank Holiday Monday and this pub was no exception. We were lucky to get a table for four in the back room when some people left conveniently. Stayed for two good pints and some rather pricey lunchtime food.
Westerham - Single Hop Northdown | 4.00 | | Golden, dry and a bit peppery from the hops. |
Westerham - Grasshopper Kentish Bitter | 3.80 | | A traditional, brown bitter. Nutty and malty. |

Second pub on mine and Andrew's West Kent pub crawl. I rather liked this village and the pub on the green. Reasonably busy for a Saturday lunchtime.
Westerham - 300th Brew IPA | 4.80 | | Gold colour with thin lasting off white head. Citrus earthy hop aroma. Bit of lemon and hay. Juicy malt in mouth. Pretty nice beer, very summery, straw/hay. Reasonable fullness in mouth and then increasingly hoppy finish. Bit of grapefruit. Really quite refreshing, but full in the mouth. |

Having squeezed the car down to the rear carpark we had a quick look at the statues on the green. The pub itself was quite cosy with 3 narrow rooms. Some bloke kept coming in and asking the staff if it really was a pub - and he was sobber.
Westerham - 300th Brew IPA | 4.80 | | Golden beer that smelt of muscadet wine. Good earthyness to the hops with hints of grapefruit and lemon peel on the finish |
