Big Penny (formerly Truman's) as of late 2022 contract brewed - Swift | 3.90 | A mellow golden ale packed with hops to leave lingering bitterness on lips and mouthfeel | |

The pub is found in Spitalfields, Central London, E1 6LY.
In Commercial Street a street corner shabby chic pub in the shadow of Spitalfields Market. Almost all round bar in this former Truman's house. Grade II listed primarily for its proliferation of patterned wall tiling on the ground floor which includes 2 large tiled local street scenes murals. Allegedly one of Jack the Ripper's victims was last seen leaving this pub. 3 handpumps on the bar counter. Upstairs dining area and downstairs toilets.
We have visited this pub 4 times, seen 7 different beers and tried 5 of them.
