The pub is found in Walthamstow, Greater London, E17 3HX.
This pub was present by 1742 and was probably re-built in its present form in around 1870. Historically the pub was tied to the Mann Crossman Paulin Brewery of Whitechapel. By 1983, all the internal divisions had been removed and the pub now has a very large single room, with a stage at the front and a pool table towards the rear. There is a beer garden at the back. The pub has held a music licence off and on since 1887 and continues to be best known as a live music venue.
We have visited this pub once, seen 2 different beers and tried 1 of them.
