Mid afternoon good timed visit as the heavens had just opened, friendly welcome from the curious barmaid regarding our crawl today. Modern yet cosy atmosphere albeit a choice of national blands on offer..

Fairly quiet, the barmaid explained that the pub was under new management, and the incoming landlord had been left with little stock when he took over, so the beer selection was not as good as it might have been.
