The pub is found in Tywardreath, Cornwall, PL24 2QP.
Three roomed pub in Fore Street. The public bar has a Victorian bar counter that still has two brass slots for miners to deposit their tokens to buy beer. There is built in bench seating around two walls and a panelled dado around the room. The other two rooms are without bars. The pub was sold to St Austell in 1932 with a covenant to sell Bass in perpetuity. This is on gravity from a stillage behind the bar. There is a working gas lamp that is still used in the event of power cuts.
We have visited this pub once, seen 5 different beers and tried 2 of them.
