This smart little pub has really moved upmarket and almost all of the tables are laid for dining. Expensive and genteel. There is now just one handpump on the bar.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Banks's - Sunbeam4.20GoodServed in the seemingly compulsory dimpled glass. A pretty decent, well-balanced Golden Ale, in very good condition here.

My first time here. It was crowded and noisy – noisy enough for people who had booked tables for evening meals to have second thoughts and walk away. Expensive too; the stronger of my two pints costing £4:50.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - Common Conspiracy4.80ExcellentReddish-brown in colour, with good US hop flavours.
Signature Brew - Backstage IPA5.60AcceptableAmber-coloured and very cloudy. Nice fruity smell. Odd mix of warming alcohol and fruity hop. Doesn’t quite work for me.
