Great Heck - Shankar IPA | 5.90 | This one was in tribute to Ian, that crazy high ABV, high alpha acid loon. This beer was light copper brown in colour. It had the hopping level of a sub-double IPA (making it a new style of beer; a SDIPA - ha ha). Really nice almost deep deep orange peel finish. Actually I quite liked it even if it's from a lineage of beers I think laughable.
Woodforde's - Flagondry | 3.60 | Pale gold. Nice light body with rich hints of marmalade and butter (but not dyacetyl butter).
Purity - Pure UBU | 4.50 | Not Tried
Camerons - Tontine | 4.10 | Not Tried |

Black Sheep - Best Bitter | 3.80 | Normally one of my favourites. Bit more caramel than usual, but it has a sharp hop finish that is good. Fine.
Greene King - Morland Old Speckled Hen | 4.50 | Not Tried
Fuller's (part of Asahi Europe) - London Pride | 4.10 | Not Tried

The pub is found in St Albans, Hertfordshire, AL3 4HE.
Lovely walk down past the abbey down to the lake and the pub in Abbey Mill Lane. The building is white washed brick and has many rooms inside, with all the tables set up for food. Large beer garden at rear.
We have visited this pub 3 times, seen 11 different beers and tried 5 of them.
