Mid afternoon not too busy having missed the lunchtime rush, friendly and welcoming for this cosy unspoilt pub with a decent selection of ales on offer.

Evening. After yesterday's north end of the Northern Line disappointment this was a superb find. Good chat with an early CAMRA member about his Keighley and Goose Eye Brewery adventures. Impressed by the attentive bar staff.
