The pub is found in Southport, Merseyside, PR9 0QE.
Built in 1909 this pub has one bar with glazed screens, three separate rooms and central corridor drinking. Originally on CAMRA's Heritage website as a Regionally Important interior but has been promoted to an interior of National Importance with the realisation that the open arched room to the rear is not a change to the original layout but is a feature of Merseyside pub architecture.
We have visited this pub twice, seen 17 different beers and tried 3 of them.
