Early evening visit to nosey around after yesterday's reopening. Bright modern style with obvious emphasis on food. The manager is optimistic the refurbishment will attract the burghers of Lee.

Marston's - Old Tigers Pale Ale (house beer)3.60AcceptableBland bitter house beer. Honestly badged as Marston's and a nice touch to use the actual image off the entrance door wall tiling tiger

Mid evening after other plans were ravaged by train and bus disruptions. Worthwhile chat with barmaid about the changes made here to upgrade. Tonight only 3 in though at this time. Local Spoon's would still appear to dominate trade in Lee.

On the dot of noon. Had seen this apparent new outlet (McLoughlin's Bar) from the bus last night so popped in after a local podiatry appointment. Single unbadged handpump but I availed myself of a Draught Guinness in keeping with the bar's name and theme.

Evening. Last came in here 45 years ago. No real ale so a rather good Draught Guinness sufficed.

The pub is found in Lee Green, Greater London, SE12 8RU.

Large corner pub on a busy road junction and sitting opposite the New Tigers Head (which has been boarded up for some years now). Large single room with evidence of past partitions. On 10th August 2015 McLoughlin's bar was opened using the former function room at the rear of the pub but it had its own entrance in Lee Road, it had an Irish theme with sports TVs and a live music stage. The main bar area was significantly refurbished in autumn 2015 and again re-opened on 17th December 2018 after a further one which furnished the pub in pastel shades and a contemporary style. A superb tiled tiger's head mural may be seen in the porch entrance to the left-most entrance door. 3 handpumps in the main bar and 2 in the rear bar which has now lost its McLoughlin's name. Alas by 2023 all handpumps had been removed.

We have visited this pub 4 times, seen 5 different beers and tried 2 of them.
