Mid afternoon fairly quiet a few gathered around the bar engaged in quiet conversation made for a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. Had a better beer range been available I would have gladly stayed longer.

Lunchtime and I'm the first customer. Start of a revisit of pubs I've not been to since I left the area nearly 30 years ago. Had a good chat with the barmaid reminiscing the pubs long since gone. Proper traditional pub atmosphere still reigns here.
