Evening. Visited prompted by Michael Croxford's write-up. Very busy, the nick nacks on walls and even the ceiling really do feast the eyes. Ruined for me by food vapours. Has an upstairs restaurant but alas food also served in the main bar area.

11:15 First stop on one of my regular wanders around London looking for potential pubs for the CAMRA Heritage website. This place doesn't make the grade for original fittings but is truly worth going to for the collection. The Guvnor gave us a insight into the history of some of the items. I got chatting to the one other customer who told me that sometimes people wander in thinking it's an antique shop.

The pub is found in Marylebone, Central London, W1H 4LJ.

To be seen to be believed. A true Cabinet of Curiosities. The windows are display cases full of bric-a-brac, the front of one counter is faced with display cases containing a collection of beer bottles, and the walls and ceiling are festooned with items in display cases and artefacts. Themes include memorabilia relating to the Royal Family, the Dambusters, and a collection of Isle of Wight sand figures. Unusually there is a display of handpumps in the window with only one difference in the actual beers available. The Handlebar Moustache Club meets here. The lease of the pub has changed hands and it is under threat of closure. Visit whilst you can. Best done early doors for the chance of a good look round.

We have visited this pub twice, seen 6 different beers and tried 1 of them.
