One of the largest Wetherspoon's in the country. Long bar serves a variety of different rooms. Accessible off the back of Rose Street. This Wetherspoon pub takes its name from its former use as the Union Bank of Scotland. The premises, at 62-66 George Street, which have up to now always been used as a bank, are listed Grade A. The building was designed between 1874-1878, in a neo-classical style, by David Bryce, and completed by his nephew John.
