Late lunchtime after a very good touristy walk around the sights including inside Magdalene College (recommended). We sat inside (told where to sit because of COVID) - good feel to the pub though - must be really enjoyable when you can move around freely without a mask.

11:10 Just opened. Three other male drinkers in the rear part of the pub, front half empty. A haven of peace from the tourist hubbub outside.

The pub is found in Oxford, Oxfordshire, OX1 3SP.

In the centre of Oxford in Holywell Street, near the Radcliffe Camera this is very much a pub of two halves, and two buildings. The front part is modernised, but the rear, Kings Arms Bar, is a gem, four separate rooms including a wood and glass panelled corridor with bench seating. One room was men only until as recently as 1971.

We have visited this pub twice, seen 5 different beers and tried 2 of them.
