21:00 to Last Orders. We had planned to move on but the heavens opened. We sat and enjoyed observing the quiz and discussing the answers with the participants afterwards. I had to take issue with the Quizmaster. Question how many Stuart monarchs. Answer 6, but he read out William as one of them when it was in fact his wife Mary. Interesting chat with the Landlady after time including discussing the collection of vintage Sam Smith's beer mats displayed above the bar back.

22:10 Last stop of the day. I hadn't been here for years and had forgotten what a lovely little pub it is. There were just a few in each room and it was a very pleasant place to finish the crawl. We were here for the Last Orders and the Time bells, sounds I seldom hear being mainly a daytime drinker.

The pub is found in York, North Yorkshire, YO10 4DL.

In Alma Terrace, purchased by Sam Smith's in 1897, and little altered since, this is a delightful little back street boozer. Two rooms to the front with the bar in the left hand room and a snug to the rear. Located down a side street leading from Fulford Road down to the river a pleasant walk back to the city centre can be had along the riverbank.

We have visited this pub twice, seen 2 different beers and tried both.
