The pub is found in Longton, Lancashire, PR4 5JY.
Isolated marshland pub near the Ribble estuary. Front bar for drinking, rear for dining. Large function room in a separate building. Excellent garden for children. Handpumps on front bar only with cask ales advertised on blackboard in the rear bar. The door leading from the front bar has a nice acid etched glass panel proclaiming Tap Room. Sliding doors are something of a rarity in pubs. I am only aware of other examples at the York Arms in York and the Dun Cow in Durham.
We have visited this pub once, seen 4 different beers and tried 3 of them.
