Early evening drinks here after our work’s austerity Christmas lunch at a nearby Pizza Express. The pub is packed.

This is actually the nearest pub to my office, but it is many years since I was any sort of a regular in here. A quick early evening pint tonight with a friend who is working nearby, before we hurry off to Leyton to watch football. One or two additional beers were also on sale.

Back street corner house with an office worker clientele. A small ground floor bar, an even smaller first floor bar and some pavement tables. Much improved since absorption into the Nicholson’s chain.
