Late afternoon a few groups dotted about. Friendly and welcoming my first visit since refurbishment and was expecting the worst however am pleased to report it still retains the same wood panelled cosy comfortable layout.

Intending to pay a visit only to find it closed with renovation work in progress. Looks like the whole pub is being gutted, pity as I'll miss the sticky carpets and flies!
