My, Whitstable has gone upmarket in the interval:I don't think we dared go in here in 1976. Friendly ,slightly bohemian vibe on a mild January Saturday lunchtime.

Thirties style corner local in the centre of town in Sea Street, not far from the beach and harbour. Known for a while as Alberres but back to the original name and then since May 2024 as Lazy Lobster. Still has handpumps.

We have visited this pub once, seen 2 different beers and tried both.
