Pub number 8 on the ratebeer.com pub crawl and probably my favourite. Lovely feel of a local pub which you wished you lived only 5 minutes from. Comfy, a bit like your front room with magazines and books. Good pub.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Marston's - Porter4.50AcceptableBit of sourness on aroma. Bit of malt in mouth, toffee maybe, soft hop dryness on finish. Dull, but drinkable porter
Brains - St David's Ale4.10PoorCopper colour with lasting thin beige head. Dullish bitter, bit creamy maybe. Some hop on end. But just forgettable.
