I’m not the only one sheltering from the rain in here, hoping that it might stop and we might get to see some cricket next door. Bit of a chain pub feel in here these days – adequate lunch.

A large pub standing beside the entrance to the County Ground, HQ of Sussex County Cricket Club. Rear garden. Pub closed and due to be demolished as part of a redevelopment scheme at the cricket ground. Scheme will include a new open plan pub with terrace.
