Late-afternoon and after-work drinkers are beginning to arrive. Some are loudly displeased with the Referendum outcome.

The pub is found in Stoke Newington, Greater London, N4 2EX.

A large, street-corner pub that was established by 1864 – close to Clissold Park, in Green Lanes. The traditional name was the Brownswood Park Tavern, the name being abbreviated sometime after 2010. The pub essentially still has two rooms, and there is a large outdoor drinking area to one side. An upstairs room too. A fine, wooden bar-back has survived, along with some cut-glass, a nice fireplace incorporating a Bass mirror, and some other old Bass signage. 8 handpumps.

We have visited this pub once, seen 5 different beers and tried 1 of them.
