A nice, traditional country pub opposite the cricket ground where I lingered to watch a few overs. Large numbers of Morris Men occupied the pub, although I had missed seeing them dance.
Harvey's - Sussex Best Bitter4.00ExcellentIn very fine condition. Iā€™m going to give four stars ā€“ high accolade indeed from me for a trad Bitter.
Long Man - Long Blonde 3.80ExcellentThe best pint of this beer I have tasted ā€“ the first out of a fresh firkin.
