We are staying upstairs and whilst my friends head off for an exploration of the pubs of the town centre, I opt for a couple of quiet ones here. Actually, it’s not very quiet as the pub is rammed, including with a large and unruly stag party. Should I ever get married, I hope my mates come up with a better plan than a stag night in a Wetherspoon in suburban Wigan.
