Mid evening and my first visit. Now Charing village's only pub. Unusual for a Micropub to have background music! I stick to my conclusion that jacket cooled casks may be OK for beer festivals but not for permanent use in a pub. Good chat with a local about how the Met Police worked in the 70s.

Early evening and not surprisingly it was very busy as it is the only pub in a village which once supported four large public houses. There were four beers on sale but unfortunately I did not make a note of them.

Micropub that opened in the High Street in May 2017, named after the fact that Charing holds Point-to-Point races. Now the only pub in the village. Real ales are served on gravity dispense from jacket cooled casks in a rear room. Cider, wine, fruit juices and speciality gins sold.
