We fancied a pint as we walked by in the afternoon. However, the limited opening hours meant it's only nighttime drinking here. Spied 4 beers on, all between £5 and £5.50 a pint.

Mid evening and my first visit. Now Charing village's only pub. Unusual for a Micropub to have background music! I stick to my conclusion that jacket cooled casks may be OK for beer festivals but not for permanent use in a pub. Good chat with a local about how the Met Police worked in the 70s.

Early evening and not surprisingly it was very busy as it is the only pub in a village which once supported four large public houses. There were four beers on sale but unfortunately I did not make a note of them.
