Nice pint. Not many places you can get this beer for less than £2.49 with a voucher.

Breaking my non drinking run for a beer I've fancied for a while. Lived up to expectations.

Beautiful afternoon by the sea. 3 guests on. Went to the Butchers Arms at lunchtime yesterday and found it closed . Very limited opening these days if you're not in a big group.

Clear crisp bitter that didn't suffer from the late summer heat.

Few in on a slightly sunny end of the day. Waiting for a meal at kumars curry house. 3 guests on but repeats of the guests they've had all summer.

Only 3 guests on with a packed pub. They couldn't change the gloombar quickly enough for the dfls. Mist kept us cool on the balcony.

This seems to be a regular here as are the other guests. This beer doesn't suit a warm day. Caramel tones but too warm spoil this beer yet again.

Big crowd on a warm Sunday afternoon. But only 1 guest on. Very disappointing in Europe's biggest pub.

This beer once again suffered from the sun. Or maybe its not so great.
This building opened as a Wetherspoon's on Tuesday 29 August 2017 and is probably the largest Wetherspoon's in the country. It was designed as a dance hall by architect Stanley Davenport Adshead in 1903 and in later years operated as a casino. On two levels with a bar with 12 handpumps at ground level and another on the 1st floor balcony with 6 handpumps. Open-to-view kitchen on the ground floor. There is a ground floor rear patio and an upstairs outside covered decking area for fair weather drinking and sea and sand views.
We have visited this pub 166 times, seen 161 different beers and tried 131 of them.
