Surprisingly as I have lived in the area since the 1950s I did not know until recently that this place existed so I set off with CIU affiliation card in hand to try a pint here. A very pleasant and comfortable establishment that I should have discovered years ago.

An amalgamation in 1963 of the former Working Mens Club and Conservative Working Mens Club this CIU affiliated club is situated in a quiet area of Tenterden close to the Church. It has a beer garden and Petanque Piste whilst the interior boasts two full size snooker tables and traditional pub games.
