Busy with walkers and locals on a late October Monday lunchtime.A lovely,genuine pub. We paid homage to a cricket bat signed by the 1964 Yorkshire team.Timothy Taylor's Best Bitter aka Boltmakers is offered from the jug or via handpump.

Unspoilt ivy hung pub on the green in a remote Dales village.The front room is a cross between your Edwardian Great Grandmother's parlour and a cabinet of curiosities. A smaller bar with open fire and back room overlooking the garden.An interior of Regional Heritage Importance.

We have visited this pub once, seen 2 different beers and tried both.
