I entered with a little trepidation following my previous, disappointing visit. But today my pint was great and I wished I could stay longer.

A combination of uncomfortable seating, a flat pint, and noticing that other drinkers' beers looked flat meant that I stayed just for one.

Evening visit, my first here. Amazing to find a range of 12 cask ales, how long will such a range endure? Always great to find a new cask outlet making Dartford worth visiting. I was immediately struck by the level of noise here, definitely needs some soft furnishings and/or professionally installed noise baffling. I sat in the rear raised bench seat area (a la micropub style) but unlike all others this was difficult to get up and into and was very uncomfortable to sit in and will be for any slightly to exceedingly obese ale drinker.

The pub is found in Dartford, Kent, DA1 1ET.

In Market Street and just around the corner from the town's main bus stand, this Micropub conversion of the old Tiffin restaurant opened on Friday 13th July 2018. Real ales and ciders are served on gravity dispense from a temperature controlled cellar room at the back, behind the bar counter. A mixture of seating which includes a raised booth area at the rear. Toilets are up a flight of stairs. It is a sister pub to The Malling Jug in West Malling. There varied mark-ups for half pints, which seem punitive for some of the lower priced ales.

We have visited this pub 3 times, seen 28 different beers and tried 4 of them.
